Which do we use if we are running 1.6.0?

And we need to delete a file first right...before we update our forums?

/install/ is fine, it will redirect anyway.
You delete the file named 'lock' in /install directory, yes.

ok, cool, so once I delete the file "lock" in the /install directory i can just run the 1.6.6 or any version script via using the "/install" then disregarding the "/install/upgrade.php" then right?

As long as it says 'Upgrade to MyBB 1.6.6', yes.
