i installed mybb onto my webpage or hoster thing and i have the admin cp and everything but when i click view forum this comes up

go to public_html via ftp and delete index.htm or html.

sorry to say but that did nothing i just deleted it

i think there is .php index thing but i dont think i should delete that

The browser cached the welcome page simply clear your cache on your web browser and you should be up and running!
