Hey guys,

I'm new to myBB. Just did a fresh install. Thought I followed everything correctly, but I've got a problem with my admin section. I can't see any icons or images.

Here is a screenshot of what I'm seeing: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/9663528/mybb%20problem.png

I'm using version 1.6

I found this help file that I thought would help... (http://wiki.mybb.com/index.php/Help:Theme_problems) but since I have no idea what I'm clicking on in the admin section I can't find the path "Go ACP > Templates & Styles > Select theme > Edit the image directory field"

The URL of my admin page: http://australiasignpost.com/forum/admin/

Any help appreciated!

thanks,
Ben
I recommend you check file permissions for the admin graphics at your hosting account.
Hey puppyite.

Thanks for the reply. But could you please tell me exactly what you mean by "check file permissions".

What should they be set to? 644?

Do I change the whole folder? And what folder exactly are you referring to? Can you please give me the path.

Thanks,
ben
Make sure all the language files are present and correct in./inc/languages/admin

I use File Manager in cPanel to set permissions. Folders and files must be set independently, setting permissions on a folder does not set the permissions of the files in that folder.

My host requires the following permissions:
Folders are 755
Files (other than .php) are 644
PHP files are 640

IIRC these permissions are required for SuPHP.

Graphics are located in: /whatever_you_named_this/images/

If I’m wrong on any of this I recommend you defer to those with more experience than I.
