How do I make a plugin compatible with 1606? It was compatible with 1.4.

Help me I'm clueless Huh

often is as simple as changing the compatibility from 14* to 16* and then applying the edits required to be compatible with 1.6.5 plugin changes (see http://community.mybb.com/thread-108595.html )

that does not mean it will be compatible with 1.6 in terms of hooks, variables, templates, etc.

Right before you posted that, I was looking through the plugin .php file and it was very simple. I opened the plugin and saw 14* and changed to 16*

you should still run my update script I linked to since the plugin system itself changed in 1.6.5
