how to add hit counter ...............in mybb plz provide me step by step info...

i'm using statcounter in my blog .it posible to add statcounter in mybb...??

i created a code.....but its 4 type standard ,standard(xhtml) ,basic ,basic(xhtml)

i like to show the counter only in homepage (index.php), but I also want to count all the other pages, but not showing the counter ???
