Hi

I am new to MyBB. Have installed it for a private discussion between a group of 8-10 people. Registrations are now disabled. I want an email to go to all members whenever anyone starts a new thread in any forum / section.

But it didn't work. My userbase is non-techie. So telling them to subscribe to a new forum every time is the last option.

Any tips for this? Thank you

if your forum has just a dozen members then you can use admin notice plugin to notify new threads & new posts ..

But this notice sends mail on every post. I don't want that to happen.
It should send mail only when a new thread is started. How can I do that?

^ install it and see settings .. there is a setting for that

Abvang How manage you solve your matter? i want this plugin on my website too,i want every new thread to notify to all registered member on my forum, i have this work on my SMF forum but i cannot get this work on MYBB
