Hi guys

I have a question and i think to me is starnge
today i was browsing my site i scrolled down to who is online part and i saw user called google bot later on i saw yahoo! slurb then Altavista this names did not registor on my forums and whern u look at their name its not printed in bold

What are they???

Search Engine Bots from google, yahoo and altavista.

These bots browse your webpage and update the index for their searches.

We identify those bots separately so that they are differentiated from the human "guests"

You can keep them out by adding a robots.txt to your site. That's what I did!

I guess that might make sense, but not entirely. How are people suppose to find your forum? I dunno.. I personaly don't like that idea, but it's your forum so your able to do as you like.
