I would like to present my new plugin: MyLeagues.
It allows forum administrator to manage sports stats. This plugin generates league tables and schedules. In ACP user can create and edit leagues, teams, matchdays and matches. Please write if you have any questions or problems.

Does this update automatically, or do you have to enter all the data yourself ?

That bug is due to having "strict" settings in MySQL. I ran into the same problem.

I can't see the links. How to I fix the permission problem?

You need to generate everything but the permissions are lost after some days.
