Hi all, i have read through the posts and have seen this error posted before, however i tried doing what was sudgested wtih no joy.

I am getting the following message when entering the forum straight after a fresh install.
httpdocs/inc/languages/english) is not installed

This was a clean install and download of the latest 1.6
I have changed folders, inc - inc english - inc english - admin to 755
all files with in other wise are listed as 644 (have too tried 666)

I have uploaded the files, re downloaded etc with no joy.

I've checked my error logs with in plesk of which it reports no issues .

Any help or guidence really would be appreciated, I have spent the past few days trying out other forums it would too be interesting to get to grips on this one.

Does ./inc/languages/english.php definitely exist on the server?

Hi Alan, Yes it definitely does, all the files as far as i can see are all the same as what the zip contains. Could this just be a server side security thing? i've hear some hosts crack down on security which some times effects forums?

Could be, try 666 on the files and 777 on the folders.

If that doesn't help, post your Admin and FTP login details in Private Inquiries and a staff member will take a look for you.
