I was working on my theme until...all of a sudden i could not edit it from mybb theme editor. tho i can edit global.css in /cache

When i try to edit the global.css i see "connection was interrputed"
I didn't do a single change in settings and so.
note: i can edit showthread.css etc...just not global.css

Does it occur only while editing global.css ?

If it occurs in all pages then make sure your WAMP or XAMP (whatever you've installed atm) is online.
