At the moment I'm working on my new forum.
However, I'm having a problem with avatars...
In threads, they are way too big, while in user profile they look like they suppose to.

check if settings.php file is writable .. you can see it at tools & maintenance section of admin panel (at bottom of page) ..

your forum's current theme has a fixed width & fixed height for avatar images in postbit_avatar template - removing it fixes the issue ..
