Hi have installed mybb on my site but on my acp it shows
curl_exec() has been disabled for security reasons.

I contacted hosting to enable the curl function but there is no responce.
and my question is can i still able to use mybb without curl function enabled.
If it is possible to use mybb without curl_exec() function there could not be problem using mybb actively?

please reply me.

curl_exec() function is required to check MyBB latest version check & file verification. it is suggested to use a webhost
where the function is available (esp. for files verification) .. however if you want you can install and use MyBB without it
