I have Windows Server 2008 R2 running with SQL Sever 2008 R2.
My problem is that i can not even do the initial install / requirement check because i receive the error "Not Writable" for the Configuration File, Cache Directory, File Uploads Directory, etc etc. There seems to be a major bug with Windows and not being able to change the folder attributes from "read-only". i have tried changing the attributes in CMD, and through Filezilla as well.
Has anyone ever solved this or created a work around??
the problem seems to happen with all versions of Windows, if you do a search for "windows read only folder" in google, you will find a ton of articles but none work for me..
Thank you so much in advance!!!
