How do I get rid of the screens in between results?

The ones that say Thank you for logging in, you'll be redirected (or click here if you don't want to wait) or your search results have been submitted please wait while you're redirected, etc.

Go to your User CP, Options, and uncheck "Show friendly redirect pages"

To disable this to subsequent users also:
Admin CP > Configuration > Server and Optimization Options > Set "Friendly Redirection Pages" to Off.
