On our MyBB 1.6 board, we recently created some new user accounts. Many of the users specifically did not subscribe to a certain forum. However, we later heard from them that they were getting notifications from that forum (we use the automatic subscriptions plugin). So we logged in as those users and found that they actually were subscrbed to that particular forum. So we unsubscribed them from that forum. However, today they have become subscribed to it again, without having chosen to.
Can anyone think of a mechanism or bug that is causing this please?
