Well, on my forum which is MyBB. So I guess it would be the same way :\ But I might need to change some configuration or add a plugin. I don't know, whatever it takes.

Why do people keep bumping old threads? either way to add a signature click "user cp > edit signature"
GIFs are pretty hard to deal with on iPhone, and quite frankly, if I could figure out a better forum integration method, I could make a direct upload feature.
As for an alternative until that happens, use a image host site like Imgur and post a GIF there. You'll be able to put it in the signature with
[img]IMAGE_URL_HERE[/img]
