What about getting posts by email? Is there a way I can make that better? Instead of just the first few lines of a post in the emails, and instead of just the first post? Some way to get everything by email?

Here's a specific question: is there a way to make the thread subscription emails contain the whole posts, not just the first little bit?
You'd probably need a core file edit, but it would be possible.
ACP > Configuration > Posting > Amount of Characters for Subscription Previews
set that to a very large number. 65,535 is the "old" length of a text field in MySQL so you should be pretty safe using that number.
