MyBB Community Forums

By default MyBB displays threads in the following hierarchy:

Categories, inside categories are Forums and inside forums we have Threads.

I would now want to have Categories within each category I should have Threads not forums.

Also, I want to create new threads under categories.

Any plugin or help will be much appreciated.

A category is meant to have forums and forums are meant to have topics.

You want category->category->topics. What's the difference between that and category->forum->topics?
