I am thinking about changing my forum skin template if I do go with something different will I have to add the logo forum icons and other plugins that change the look of the forum after I change skin template??

If the plugins make template edits then yes, you can just de-active them and then re-active them for this. The forum icons will change since it's a new theme, and the forum logo is a easy to change since you can specify where it's at in the theme's options/settings.
