Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.

I've got a mybb forum on my website, I use Dreamweaver for my main website, and then use FileZilla for any forum stuff. I'm a newbie and learning.

How can I go about displaying the latest posts on my main website homepage?

I'm assuming I need my homepage to be .php for the code to work properly? Currently it is .html
