Dont see admin/modrtr option.
Tried database edit, but that didnt seem to do it.
Saw (with search mybb) similar post solved by author in 2008... said did it with plugin, but didnt say what it was.
Is it necessary to use a plugin ?
Where should look for help ?

I've done this before via Database edit, you have to do it to the mybb_post one, and mybb_thread one if it's the 1st post of the thread.

That did it.
Also, 1st time forgot to change uid, ie only changed username, but when finally got act together and changed both at mybb_post and mybb_thread, and it worked fine.
