Hi guys,

I'm currently trying to install MyBB 1.6.6. I'm doing so on GoDaddy Web Hosting (Windows).

Using FileZilla, I created a new folder, dropped all the files from the "Upload" folder inside. Then I changed the file settings from GoDaddy's FTP Manager to make the files Read+Write.

The installer went fine, I used GoDaddy's MySQL setup, etc.

After the installer finished, the board itself didn't load any images. It did load the text, though. I'm stumped here, I don't know what to do. Also, trying to log in or any other function outside of index.php throws me "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading." in FireFox and equivalent in IE and Chrome. I have tried using a two other computers on different networks and it didn't work as well.

Here's a screenshot of the problem: http://i42.tinypic.com/33m7hir.png
Here's a link to an example: http://~.com/exampleforum/index.php

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Edit: I also contacted GoDaddy Support, they replied with this.
Quote:I understand you are inquiring about your websites bulletin board. During our review of your account, we did not see any issue with the operational status of your hosting account and your site appears to be setup and accessible without issue.

Unfortunately, we can not assist with 3rd party software installation. If you are running into an error during the installation of these installations please be as specific as possible and we will try and troubleshoot the problem with the installation to determine if there is an issue with our system.

You may wish to consult with a community forum online or do a search on your favorite search engine as other users may have encountered a similar problem in the past and may offer helpful solutions.
Issue with that is that I can't even access ACP.
The ENTIRE directory is Read+Write so CHMOD doesn't concern me (I think).

Edit: I fixed it. Thanks JovanJ. My friend came over and told me to directly jump to ACP (Didn't think of that), which worked. The problem was with the Board URL, which was set to https.... instead of http....
can you please explain how to FIX pls?
Cause i have the same problem..
No images, slow, no access to ACP..

thx a lot
i found it by myself (using your 3d, of course) the problem was in "general settings" https instead of http..

the only question was "where to edit it?"
thx antway!
