Admin Notes FAQ and Help Desk

To install Admin Notes to your forum, you need to know where to install all of the files. To begin with this, first make sure to have all the files.

To receive all the files and information needed before downloading, please visit the official MyBB mod area located here: http://mods.mybb.com/view/admin-notes

Upon downloading, you will get a zip file and you must extract the zip to get the files inside. You will receive two folders that are Extras and Uploads. You will be using the Upload folder as it contains all the necessary components needed for the plugin to work. Inside the folder you will see two additional folders named admin and inc. These folders are used for the directory to install the files.

For the admin folder the directory is:

public_html > admin > modules > home

This is where you shall place the file also known as index.php.

For the inc folder the directory is:

public_html > inc > plugins

This is where you shall place the file also known as adminnotes.php

Once you have done this, you are now ready to activate your plugin! To do this you must visit your Admin CP. While there you must visit the plugin area and activate the plugin.

Your plugin page should look something along the lines of this:
http://gyazo.com/5f00c337858f083fdfbfb4655ddf2f43

Important Info:
You must overwrite your original index.php file in the admin directory above. This is okay and no conflict will occur or error.

Any questions can be asked below!

I think this belongs in releases, not support. Your link to the original thread is giving me a could not be found error in Chrome. I also am curious as to what the difference is between this and just using the notes area that is provided with the software.

I didn't get an error with Chrome when going to the site I posted it on. Also this just allows for better explanation to me. Nonetheless, just trying to help.
