Well I was nearly giving up
Any one know how to install the forums on a subfolder without affecting the other functions that the forum has. Mine just redirects to my main site every time I try to view my profile and threads.

first I can't seem to find a solution since everytime I go view profile, it ends up opening my main homepage. I looked on the link and it says .html and not the php.

I go wander on the htaccess and noticed this code:
Quote:#
# MyBB "search engine friendly" URL rewrites
# - Note, for these to work with MyBB please make sure you have
# the setting enabled in the Admin CP and you have this file
# named .htaccess
#
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>

<IfModule mod_env.c>
SetEnv SEO_SUPPORT 1

</IfModule>

My solution was I turned this part off: Enable search engine friendly URLs?
location is on Server and Optimization Options.

i guess that gave me loops on my subfolder

Guess case closed?> XD
