Is there an updated plugin version for MyBB 1.8.0!
Anyway I wonder why this is not a core feature yet!

Tested on 1.8. It's more or less works, user can delete own account, but if I want restore it I have error:
Quote:MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.
SQL Error:
1054 - Unknown column 'msn' in 'field list'
And I would like more info on "ex" user on Deleted Accounts - Here you can view/restore all accounts deleted by the Delete Account plugin ACP Page.
For example IP and date of registration, latest IP, email, number of messages. Or only can check account before to delete permanently it.
Would it be possible for this to be amended so users can close their accounts but not delete them?
I have adapted the plugin and checked locally for its function.

Hi, i tried running it but i have a problem, the plugins page in admin panel is blank.
I put your deleteaccount.php in inc/plugins and i put inc/languges/english/deleteaccount.lang.php and inc/languges/english/admin/deleteaccount.lang.php from the 1.1 zip version uploaded by fonta.
same with me when I use the updated plugin.
The original allows you to delete account but not restore them. Im happy enough with that so just used the original one.

By now im using the version the 1.1 changing the compatibility version to use with MyBB 1.8, mainly for the upcoming GDPR law and being compliant. I will try to let the restore feature working but im not so expert about PHP
Is this updated for MyBB 1.8? Can't find a download link. Can probably update this for 1.8* if someone posts the download link. Will be useful for the upcoming GDPR changes.
