I need a plugin that can function as the "featured links" at http://www.nairaland.com

I know the forum is not that of mybb, but I do hope there is a plugin that would display a list of links posted on a thread or anywhere on index.

That one is really good but not exactly what I need. I need one that would shoutbox list the links on index.

I was thinking, would it be possible to have a live editing announcement plugin without visiting admin control panel.

Or a shoutbox that one can edit the groups that can see it and the groups that can post on it.
