hi at the moment im running my on a free forum and server witch is phpbb3 but im not happy at all with it and as my site is getting bigger i want to move to a pais server and use mybb software i can get a full backup for my posrts,members and the data but i just aint got a clue how to
a install the mybb software on the server (when i get it as not decided what host to use yet)
abd
b how to upload the back up to restore my site on the new software and server
oh and i`ve got my domain too but i know how to sort that bit
can any1 help me with advise on how its done and how easy it is

See the wiki: installing page. That will guide you through installing. Merge Support section of this forum should be able to assist you with importing your old data.
