hi just went to do a backup on mybb and got this message;The zlib library for PHP is not enabled - you cannot create GZIP compressed backups.
can any1 please help
Either disable the compress backup option, or ask your host to install the zlib library.
so just change it to Plain Text insted ofGZIP Compressed ?dont it matter witch 1 then
A compressed backup will mean a smaller file size of the backup. Plain text will produce a raw file of SQL queries used to build the database.
Unless you have a large database, downloading a plain text version of the database will suffice.
