Is there a way in CP to restrict the mod control panel via password protect directories in control panel?

Do you have root ssh access to your server?
do you mean ACP folder?
then you can add .htaccess and ..htpasswd file, for Apache server.
the acp folder is already directory password protected and was hoping we could do the same with the modcp?
