So, Ive recently come back to the MyBB community after a couple of years, and while most things look unchanged, one thing I noticed was the "This User has been denied support" under some people.

What does this excatly mean, and what do you have to do badly to get this?

The users which does not meet below criteria and are requesting support are not actually eligible for getting support here;
