I don't want to allow my co-admin to change configuration settings but I do want to allow him to turn the website on/off and specify a reason. How can I allow him to do just that and nothing else?
Edit: Please don't just reply "Not possible without a plugin" unless you actually suggest a plugin.
AdminCP > Users and Groups > Admin Permissions > Edit the Super Mod you want to allow only particular option > and select the options you want to allow him in Admin CP.
I know, but I just want to allow them to change one setting (not all settings).
It's not possible without a plugin. And I don't even think there is a plugin for that. You could start a Request thread or ask someone to create the plugin for you.
There's an option in the ACP, which lets you decide if someone can modify all the settings, but not just a specific setting.
I could find a way to do it, I will figure it out even if i need to make a plugin but it will be done.
