Forum was working fine. Went to log in, receiving this error.

I can reach host, all management tools. Can't associate any action to causing this. Need help please.

Thanks, it works. But why would it work with mysql, then suddenly I need to change it to mysqli?

Your host may have decided to make a change or remove one or more PHP modules.
