how do i change the time on my site ive tried it in different time zones and it dont change its a hour behind at the moment

User Control Panel > Edit Options > Date and Time Options > and in drop down menu just below this text "If you live in a time zone which differs to what this board is set at, you can select it from the list below." , select your timezone.

i`ve just done that and its right now but will it now change for every1 or just me

Its for you only. You may PM users to change their correct timezone.

Just for you. You need to change the timezone in the Admin CP to have it affect other users. And then there's already registered users, which you'll need a couple of SQL queries for. See my tutorial on how to set all users to the same timezone. Feel free to skip the template editing steps if you'd still like to allow users to change their timezone.

Not everyone is in your time zone. If every time zone is an hour behind, it sounds like an issue with the server's clock.
