ive noticed when you use quickedit it doesnt show 'This post was last modified: bleh blah.'

is this intentional?

Once you've used quick edit, the edited by message should show next time you refresh/visit the page. This is unfortunately a limitation of the system.

i mean on this board here (with the testing version of mybb 1.2)

if you go to edit and select 'quick edit' then do some editing and click 'save changes' it doesnt show the last edited by information like it would show if you clicked 'full edit'

We tried to implement this before, but we decided it was not worth the trouble. Since you are the one who edited that post, we felt there was no need to display the message to you, because you obviously know who edited.
