Are you still having issues ? Did you run the update ?
The new code adds a new feature "Category Sections", so you need to deactivate and activate back to update.
Even if you update correctly, there might still be issues causing bugs for you.

I had to deactivate the plugin due to the problems described above. I will now try to see if it still gives me problems with the latest update.
You might upload the files from the stable version from Extend, and it may work just fine even if you updated to a new version.
Once the new version is working, you can upload and update again.

Yes I tried to load the last update you made and it still gives me the error in the quick reply i.e., having to reload the page to read the message.
