I wrote this such that it doesn't add any noticable server load. Allot of the work is done client side with javascript.
It has multi-language support if other people want to submit translations.
This plugin will shrink quoteblocks if they contain images that are not forum smilies or contains embedded videos. If the text exceeds a certain configurable length of characters the plugin will cut characters in the middle up to the configured length.
Users can click on the collapsed quote and it will expand showing it's original unaltered content. Then click again and it will collapse.
I came up with this idea when people kept replying quoting large blocks of text and only adding one sentence. The thread is more readable when large quotes are collapsed since I have already read all the previous content.
