The person that set up this site and maintained it, is MIA, and all I have is a admin login and password. I cleared my browser hist., but not sure how to use the FTP. Our site is being flooded with spammers right now, and we are trying to get into the ACP to block them out, but since I am not as computer literate as yall, I'm not sure what to do. Another problem is I don't know who hosts the site either, just that he had it all set up and is now too busy to fix it... Sorry if I sound ignorant with my question, just got stuck in the middle. Thanks for any help!

Split, does not have to do with login/logout problems.

Really you can't do a whole lot without FTP. Try and get the info from the admin.

Thanks for the info, and sorry for posting in the other thread. If I can't get any info from the other guy, how can I just shut down the whole forum, so at least it isn't embarrassing for members to see all the crap on there?
