What you could do is create a page with that as the content, set it as the index page and have it redirect you to the forums upon sliding. I'd advise not doing so, however as it would be a real turn off for 99% of people who may even consider joining your site.

Because having to slide an object across the screen each time you access the site would just be plain annoying to most people.

It's entirely up to you whether you install it or not. I personally don't have enough time to do it for you. It's a simple task though: simply follow the guide on css-tricks.com and upload the files to your site. Set the HTML file as your index page and you're done.
