I just moved to another host, maintaining the same url for the forum

it has gone well, but now when i try to log into admin panel, i get:

/var/www/forum/inc/languages/english/admin/user_customuserperms.lang.php does not exist

is this a chmod setting that needs altering?

It let me in at first, now doesn't, so I'm also wondering if i just need to wait out propagation longer, but i'm not sure

Try changing the chmod, yes.

i changed it to 644, cleared my cookies and cache and it let me in

i won't mark solved just yet until i persistently get in a few times

scratch that, it took me to the old admin panel on old host... waiting game ATM

how would i go about manually removing the plugin without the admin panel? i'm assuming it can be done with phpmyadmin and deleting files somehow?
