Hi
New here and dont fully understand how it all works,
But I set up a forum hosted here for a few friends to communicate thru, now quite a few having problems logging in.
All gettting this message. after a month of working ok, this started happening a few days ago!
Now becoming annoying!

PLease help!

MyBB SQL Error

MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue.

SQL Error:
2002 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
Query:
[READ] Unable to connect to MySQL server

Please contact the MyBB Group for support.

It's not hosted by MyBB. We do not host forums.

You'll need to contact your webhost. I.e. the website you went to to setup your hosting account.

It's not hosted by MyBB. We do not host forums.

You'll need to contact your webhost. I.e. the website you went to to setup your hosting account.

Sorry , its a bit of a blur, Im very much a novice herem i thought i did it all thru mybb.
If I logon as Administrator is there somewhere I can see who is hosting it?

How did you install MyBB? Did you use a free service such as createmybb3.com? Did you manually install it?
