Hi guys,

I have been trying to configure SMTP settings in forum, and i have done the following setting as in below image


and i have done the settings based on this source, but still this error "Unable to connect to the mail server with the given details.<br /><br />110: Connection timed out".

Please help out guys, and i have searched a lot of previous threads in here, and those are also unsolved!...
(Also, I have checked with my host server settings, its working fine with the my host settings.)

I have used the following settings and its working fine, thanks for "GunnerAIO"

SMTP hostname: tls://smtp.gmail.com
SMTP port: 465
SMTP Encryption Mode: No encryption
Mail Logging: Log Everything
Add message ID in mail headers: No

just use php m8

But my host provider doesn't allow mass mail bro, thats why all these problem, can we set php mail for the google apps email?

are you using a free host? if you are just go on a paid host i only pay £3.30 a month for unlimited hosting and its been great

no bro, i am using "hosting24" premium account(silver pack), but they don't allow mass mailing. Which host you are using?

i use these m8 http://unlimitedwebhosting.co.uk/ and never had a prob and the site runs quick and there 24/7 support is great highly recomended

But its not available with ".in" domain bro...

oh dont know then m8 why not get .com or .co.uk oh and where did you get the plugin that displays when the Board started i`ve seen it before but cant remembers where
