Hey well I was just curious if anyone knows how to change the user profile link URL?

I know it has something to do with .htaccess, which I have changed but I can't seem to find where the URL is originally displayed, as I have figured out by myself the URL updates itself if .htaccess exists or not.

So yeah, does anyone know where I am meant to search?

Edit: I managed to find: $lastpost_profilelink
Now just a matter of finding that o.o

How did you want to change it? I mean what changes you wish to do to the link?

By the way, $lastpost_profilelink denotes the "Lastpost by " author's name in Index.

This much I had gathered @ $lastpost, which I'm also going to be guessing that it has the link with it too, how ever I wanted to change the users profile link so say for example:

So instead of
http://localhost/mybb/user-x.html
Defined by htaccess
Id want it to be something like:
http://localhost/mybb/u-6.html

If this makes sense? o.O

But yeah, I've done this on the htaccess file but the links leading to profiles don't update.
Edit 2: ^ Like it did do when MyBB had found the htaccess had exist.
