I've recently upgraded both my test board and my working board from 1.4 to 1.6.7 My test board works fine but there is a problem with the working board. It's not a cookie problem as I've double checked that they are OK.

My Forum url is http://www.astrogunge.co.uk/mirror/

When a user logs in instead of landing on http://www.astrogunge.co.uk/mirror/portal.php they are getting a 404 page because an extra trailing slash and mirror is appearing ie http://www.astrogunge.co.uk/mirror//mirror/portal.php

Members are logged in and can navigate from that page to the forum. It's probably a minor glitch but I don't know where to look to fix it. Can anyone help please?
Make sure your board URL in your settings is http://www.astrogunge.co.uk/mirror without a trailing slash.
Thank you for your prompt response, I've just checked, no trailing slash in the board URL settings
I assume you haven't modified the portal.php file at all?

Not that I can recall. To be honest I set the forum up getting on for 5 years ago, I've not had to do much since then apart from upgrade as and when. This is the first time this glitch has occurred
Does it only occur on the portal page or does it happen on the index too?

If the user navigates away from the 404 page (there's a link to the website on the 404 page) then everything is fine, even the portal page, it's just the initial login that's throwing up this problem
The latest upgrade has solved the problem. Thank you
Glad to hear it's sorted!
