i had to restart the installer because my internet got messed up....now i restarted the installer and i get this....

I got the same error, and is now stuck... Upgrading from 1.1.7 i think, to 1.2

Which page did you get up to?
The second page of database modifications?
If that is the case you can go to:
/install/upgrade.php?action=5_redoconfig
And carry on with the configuration rewrite process.
