I'm having an issue with image verification on new registrations

Whenever the person types in the correct 4 letters that are in the image verification it does not work, this is blocking new people from registering so I need to figure this out!

Which plugin do you use for this Image verification?
Why don't you use new MyBB Feature reCAPTCHA or MyBB Default Image Verification?

I'm not using any plugin for image verification, just the myBB default.

I am using a random security question plugin if that helps anything, but it doesn't seem like that's causing the problem.

Your host may not be having GD installed on the server. Ask them.
