I tried to figure if akismet works for incoming guest posts at all.
I posted several obvious link spam mails (got source from my wordpress comments spam folder) as guest from under anonymous proxy and nothing happens. Akismet does not catch them.
For what I see it works for me only when admin or supermoder presses "spam" button. I see no signs of Askimet filtering of incoming posts. Should it does that? In wordpress it does.
I tried to setup bad behaviour plugin and it does absolutely all the same - does not react to any spam messages at all.
The reason I am forced to test that is that I am using WordBB bridge between Wordpress and MyBB and it works exactly like I wanted with the only exception - it allows tons of spam comments (usual link spam).
However I tested adding spam messages directly from forum - and the result is the same.
