How can I remove ads for people who have upgraded?
There is a plugin for this at MyBBCentral.com, but you need to be a premium subscriber to download it. It does allow you to chose which usergroup ID's will be able to view and not view ads.

There are many free plugins where u can set which group ID can see ads. For example:
- post ad (Nayar) - recommended by me
- Ads after first post (MyBBoard.de)
If you dont want to pay for a plugin. You can either like Maj suggested or just download:
PHP in templates - plugin.
And set it up for which user groups you want to display a certain thing. Its a bit more work though but i prefer this method.

Post ad lite, like Maj suggested. I cannot seem to find an option to turn ads off for certain usergroups. The ads are from Google Adsense.
I suggest to download full version of Post Ad. It's free - u simply need to register on Nayar's forum and download it from there.
