I started my board a few weeks ago but I merged in a older forum now my per day stats are ruined, how do I change it back?

If I'm understanding your question correctly, you need to recount. Head to Admin CP => Tools & Maintenance => Recount & Rebuild and click on "go" under "Recount Statistics".

The posts per day are counted off of the oldest user's register date.
Yes but there must be a query to prevent it?
On lines 39-49 of stats.php you can see how it is calculated. You can edit stats.php to change the number of days the forum has been running.
Thanks I changed this by changing it to searching for the regdate of the first uid and then I changed that regdate to the regdate of when we opened.
