How would I fix this?

On the broken image of your forum, right click --> view image info

that so you can find and locate the url of your image path.
Then Upload the image on the image path specified.

Make sure if uploading via ftp, the file transfer is binary.
and the folder permission for image folder is 777

Okay thanks that fixed it but the image above is still broke and any idea how to change the gray areas that label Top Posters, etc. to my thead.gif?
