Hello !
I Wish To do a clean Inastall of the new myBB Board (1.2) To Test it And do Changes to the theme before to use it as my default board...
My Question is: Can I Restore Later only : settings,permissions,members,posts,threads ? (From the Old Board ? )

Or....How ?

You can't import things without making sure you import exactly everything.

I'd recommend you design your 1.2 theme and what not then export it and perform a 1.1.8 > 1.2 upgrade on your existing forum then import the custom theme.

This is my plan as well. I will make sure I can get all my mods to work on a plain 1.2 install. I will redesign my custom themes for 1.2 plain install then export them. Then I will update my current forums to 1.2....reinstall the new plugins and themes I have created. I hope it will go smoothly.
